This is the word that best describes the CENTURION D-Series interface.\u00a0 Intuitive.\u00a0 <\/em>When you get right down to it, there\u2019s really very little thinking to be done on the part of the user \u2013 the controller does it all for you<\/strong>!\u00a0 From setting the limits to learning additional remote controls, setting up your gate motor using this advanced platform is like having a friendly robot holding your hand and guiding you through each and every step.<\/p>\n

But, just in case you don\u2019t know just how easy it is, this tutorial will guide you through adding a CENTURION code-hopping remote control to a D-Series gate motor\u2019s onboard receiver.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Enter Programming Mode<\/strong> by pressing and holding the oblong (centre) button for approximately two seconds.\u00a0 The words \u201cSetting Limits<\/strong>\u201d will appear on the LCD display.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Press the up arrow once \u2013 the words \u201cRemote Controls (Tx)\u201d<\/strong> will appear on the screen.\u00a0 Press and release the oblong button (this button\u00a0serves as an \u201center\u201d or confirmation button of sorts) to enter the Remote Controls menu. The controller will now ask you what you want to use the remote for, for e.g. triggering the gate, opening for pedestrians, activating the Holiday Lockout feature, etc.\u00a0 Say, for e.g. that you wish to press the remote to open, stop and close the gate; you will then select \u201cTrigger Gate\u201d as the primary function.\u00a0 Once again you will use the oblong button to confirm your selection.<\/p>\n

    5. The next screen will display \u201cTime-bar remote: No<\/strong>\u201d. \u00a0If you don\u2019t want to enable time-barring for that particular remote, simply press the oblong button to confirm your selection as being \u201cNo\u201d.\u00a0 If you want to time-bar the remote, press the up arrow so that the screen displays \u201cYes\u201d, and confirm with the oblong button.
