strong as the security with which it protects its assets.\u00a0 Nowhere is this truer than in the<strong> industrial milieu<\/strong>, an arena in which <strong>warehouses and factories<\/strong> house the very lifeblood of the undertaking and can, without the proper security measures, rapidly become a company\u2019s Achilles Heel.<\/p>\n<p>Time for a brief history lesson \u2013 you might want to take notes as there\u2019s a test afterwards (just kidding!).<\/p>\n<p><strong>CENTURION<\/strong> first entered the industrial arena back in 2003 (although we were producing light-industrial solutions in 1990 already!) with the introduction of our ultra-strong <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centsys.co.za\/\/a10-industrial-sliding-gates\/\">A10<\/a> AC slider, a mains-powered beast capable of automating gates weighing up to two tons.\u00a0 This innovation firmly cemented our place as The Automatic Choice not only for domestic sites, but also for applications requiring a little more muscle.<\/p>\n<p>Then, in 2009, we released the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centsys.co.za\/\/d10-industrial-sliding-gates\/\">D10<\/a> slider, again changing the face of access control.\u00a0 Most of you will by now be familiar with the D-Series platform and the incredible convenience associated with it; the D10 took industrial automation to a whole new level by combining a<strong>monstrous push force<\/strong> of 30kgf with the intelligent and undeniably user-friendly controller that is the basis of the D-Series platform.<\/p>\n<p>Now, you might be wondering what on earth the abovementioned operators have to do with securing distribution warehouses.\u00a0 Well, nothing as such, but they do serve as a nice little introduction for the beast, the behemoth, the titan that is&#8230;the <a suitably piqued.\u00a0 Well, put quite simply, the RSO is<strong>the power lifter of industrial automation<\/strong>.\u00a0 It is a <strong>powerful and robust<\/strong> <strong>roller shutter operator<\/strong> providing all the muscle you need to<strong> automate extremely heavy roller shutters<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThree models are available, each with their own unique way of showing weighty doors who\u2019s boss.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>RSO5R<\/strong> provides <strong>basic, cost-effective automation<\/strong> for doors weighing up to <strong>500kg<\/strong>.\u00a0 This relay-driven operator (the \u2018R\u2019 in its name stands for \u2018relay\u2019, in case you were wondering) includes a 5m hand chain for <strong>convenient manual operation<\/strong> as well as a three-button wall pendant.<\/p>\n<p>Next up is the <strong>RSO5<\/strong> \u2013 a <strong>500kg<\/strong> operator that also <strong>includes a multi-faceted interface board<\/strong>that can be used for the connection of safety beams, access control keypads, pillar lights, proximity tag readers, etc.\u00a0 This is the perfect marriage of <strong>power and intelligence<\/strong>.\u00a0 The RSO5 also employs a <strong>unique double-disc brake system<\/strong> to ensure that the shutter stops<strong>safely and reliably<\/strong> every time.<\/p>\n<p>Last, but definitely not least, we have the <strong>RSO9<\/strong>.\u00a0 Adjectives like \u2018<strong>powerful<\/strong>\u2019, \u2018<strong>brawny<\/strong>\u2019 and \u2018<strong>robust<\/strong>\u2019 don\u2019t really do this colossus justice, seeing as it is able to lift <strong>extremely heavy roller shutters<\/strong> weighing up to <strong>900kg<\/strong> without even breaking a sweat.\u00a0 It is ideal for automating the
