Despite a somewhat inauspicious start to the year – with a move back to alert level 3 of the nationwide lockdown which has seen some of the restrictions previously lifted reinstated – there is every reason to be optimistic about what 2021 might hold. Certainly, the reality and seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic have crystallised in everyone’s mind, but we must remember that this great nation was built in the spirit of Ubuntu – humanity – and by working together, even when we’re physically apart, we have the power to make a positive change and face adversity head-on.
In 2020, the security industry demonstrated its buoyancy by staying afloat even in the choppiest of waters. Some might even say that there was some growth in this sector amid renewed concerns about crime, and this trend is likely to continue in 2021.
In the CENTURION camp, suffice to say that this will be a year of incredible innovation as we will be bringing you our latest access automation solutions, informed by our brand essence of making life easier for everyone in the value chain, from installers to end-users.
